Cigarette Butts
Cigarette Butts explores the overlooked yet pervasive environmental impact of discarded cigarette filters on water, soil, and living ecosystems. This project sheds light on how these everyday remnants contribute to pollution, toxicity, and broader ecological harm. By blending humor with serious analysis, it turns a mundane topic into a compelling narrative, aiming to raise awareness about this silent but significant issue. Using a mix of archival footage and original filmed content, the work strikes a balance between entertaining and educating, inviting audiences to reflect on the ripple effects of a ubiquitous habit.
